Resize to KB provides a free, browser-based image resizing and compression tool designed to help users prepare photographs, signatures, thumb impressions, and handwritten declarations for Indian government job application forms. The tool processes images entirely within the user's web browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Resize to KB does not upload, store, or transmit user images to any server.
Resize to KB provides image dimension and file-size specifications sourced from publicly available official recruitment notifications issued by organizations such as IBPS, SBI, SSC, UPSC, RRB, TGPSC, SPMCIL, and TNPSC. While we make every effort to ensure these specifications are accurate and up to date, we cannot guarantee their correctness at all times. Official notifications may be amended, and specifications may vary between recruitment cycles. Users are strongly advised to verify the image requirements against the latest official notification before submitting their applications. Resize to KB is not responsible for application rejections resulting from incorrect or outdated specifications.
Resize to KB is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government organization, including but not limited to the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), State Bank of India (SBI), Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB), Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC), Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), or Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). All organization names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used here solely for identification and reference purposes.

Users should not rely solely on Resize to KB for ensuring compliance with application requirements. Users must ensure that the photographs, signatures, and other documents they process are their own and that they have the right to use them. The Resize to KB website, its design, code, content, and branding are the intellectual property of Resize to KB. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Resize to KB website or its source code without prior written consent. The name "Resize to KB" and the associated logo are trademarks of Resize to KB.
Resize to KB is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Resize to KB shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to damages resulting from application rejections, incorrect image processing, or loss of data. Since all image processing occurs client-side, Resize to KB has no control over the user's device, browser, or the images being processed.
Resize to KB strives to maintain continuous availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. Since the core image processing runs in the user's browser, the tool may function differently across different browsers, devices, and operating systems. We recommend using a modern, updated browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge for the best experience.
Resize to KB reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of Resize to KB shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
